Winchester Town Meeting will decide this November whether to adopt the Specialized Energy Code. This Code only applies to new buildings (not renovations or additions). It requires new buildings that use fossil fuels to pre-wire for future electric appliances and include rooftop solar.

Dept. of Energy Resources; Tom Kennedy, Winchester's Building Commissioner; Jim Kelly, Lexington's Building Commissioner, and others.
