1st Annual Friends of Winchester Recreation Pickle Ball Tournament

Our 1st Annual Pickleball Tournament represents a new phase in our organization's history as we strive toward a vision of raising the level of Winchester's recreational facilities to best in class. The Friends of Winchester Recreation and Community Services, Inc. is a registered 501c(3) since 1991. Over the years, we have helped support the Winchester Youth Center, Kid Connection Preschool, and various other projects with grants of over $80,000 in 2024.

A Night With Koshari Mama

Koshari Mama presents vegan Egyptian delights. From the rich spices to the traditional dishes, this buffet offers a culinary journey through the heart of Egypt, all in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. To make the evening even more special, we’ll have a live belly dancer performance between courses, adding an exciting cultural experience to the night! Basic cost: $84; lower and higher tiered prices available.

Art in the Park

Art in the Park is a family-friendly public art activity including hands-on opportunities, demonstrations, and exhibitions of art that takes place during the Winchester Farmers' Market. A number of local artists will run activities to show their creative process and in some cases to let people try making their own. Artists all also be able to sell their artwork. There will be something for everyone!

Artificial Intelligence | Artist Reception

The Griffin Museum welcomes the artists of Artificial Intelligence on Saturday September 7th for a reception. Join us for a look at the art and artists of the exhibition filling the museum in Winchester. Artist Reception - Lisa Jo Spencer | The Body Project

Join us to toast the opening of an exhibition of work by Winchester-local, Lisa Jo Spencer. Her exhibition The Body Project will be on view from July 16 - September 1, 2024. Come to our WinCAM satellite gallery, meet the artist and admire her amazing work.

Arts Winchester Beer Garden

Join Arts Winchester and Arlington Brewing Co. for a summer Beer Garden on The Griffin Museum's outdoor patio. Grab some friends and neighbors and enjoy this community event featuring the music of The Shirim Klezmer Orchestra while tasting local brews. Free to attend, kids and well behaved dogs are welcome as well. See you then!

Authentic Selves: Celebrating Trans and Nonbinary People and their Families June 1 – 9, 2024

Live in-person from the stunning Ripley Chapel at First Congregational Church, Winchester.

Celebrate pride through beautiful, empowering, first-hand accounts of trans, nonbinary, and gender-fluid experiences. From Massachusetts-based Family Diversity Projects, this exhibit uses stunning photography and rich stories to challenge damaging myths and stereotypes about trans and nonbinary people, educate people about these communities, and help make the world a safer, more connected, and more empathetic place.
