En Ka Society

The Society’s objective is to provide aid, through volunteer services and through raising funds, for local charities, non-profit organizations and other groups that serve the people of Winchester.

Originally established as a Winchester High School sorority, today En Ka is a volunteer organization comprised of more than 200 women in Winchester. Each En Ka member supports the efforts of the En Ka Exchange, a vintage clothing store located at 1037 Main Street in Winchester, and the En Ka Fair, held every May in downtown Winchester. Members work along side each other at the fair, the exchange and also participate in other civic and social service activities, such as delivering Meals on Wheels and providing daily snacks for the residents at the ABC House.

En Ka is fortunate to have members of all ages, from their 20s to their 90s, which provides added richness in the relationships that are formed. Members enjoy social activities together and highlights include the annual fashion show, new member tea and theatre and dining outings.

Through each En Ka member’s individual and combined efforts, the Society distributes grants every year to more than 40 charities, youth, civic and non-profit organizations that impact the lives of Winchester residents.
