Winchester Friends of Music (WFOM) is a volunteer organization made up of parents and community members. Originally founded in 1985 and newly organized as a 501(c)(3) public charity in 2021, WFOM supports the music program in Winchester Public Schools and has begun to expand to other music-related initiatives in Winchester, such as Winchester Porchfest.
The mission of the Winchester Historical Society is to promote an awareness of Winchester’s rich history and share it with the community. The Society achieves its mission by collecting and preserving historic records and artifacts related to Winchester; by its educational programs, exhibitions, and publications; and through its stewardship of the Sanborn Historical and Cultural Center, which serves as the home for the Society and is open to the community for exhibits, meetings, and events.
Winchester News serves the entire community, including all residents and businesses.
The Winchester Public Library offers a variety of free services to all ages including educational and cultural programs, physical and digital books, audiobooks, and movies, research materials, and meeting space. The building is open to all.
The Winchester Recreation Dept is proud to provide the Town of Winchester with our activity registration system and website.
Winchester School of Chinese Culture (WSCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to teach the language and traditional culture of China through classroom instructions, the arts, and cultural events and to promote and engage in cultural exchanges and civic activities to develop and sustain community-school partnerships.
A dedicated and diverse women's non-profit organization committed to providing various volunteer services and programs for the benefit of Winchester Hospital. Activities include the annual cabaret in late January or early February.
