Kick off the holiday season with an evening of cheese tasting, grazing board arranging, and festive beverages on the farm with a special Holiday Cheeseboard Arranging Workshop led by Life.Love.Cheese.

We’ll be sampling four delicious American artisanal cheeses, paired with a festive holiday drink. Then, we’ll guide you through arranging a 9-inch grazing board using those cheeses and a variety of holiday-themed accompaniments. Whether you’re looking to perfect your holiday hosting skills or simply enjoy a cozy evening of culinary creativity, this workshop is the perfect way to start the season

On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church, 34 Dix St., will hold its annual Holiday Faire, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come for Crawford's Famous Apple Pies and Fabulous Cookie Bar; the Christmas Room with a splendid array of lovely holiday decorations and other exciting items not found in local stores; beautifully handcrafted goods and gift baskets; delightful and unique ideas for everyone; fun vintage jewelry; scrumptious baked goods; delicious breakfasts and lunches at the Snack Bar, White Elephants with Books, Toys & the Holiday Room.

Our home-made apple pies will fill the freezer. Our crafters have been knitting, crocheting, and sewing handmade treasures all year and this is your chance to scoop them up! Our bakers and soup makers are getting ready to fill our baked goods table and snack bar, so you’ll have plenty of tasty options if you get hungry while shopping. Our White Elephant and Book Sale tables will soon be groaning with treasures. Plus the jewelry table, Christmas Room, and cookie bar! We hope you’ll join us in kicking off the holiday season at this beloved community event.
