30th Annual Juried Members' Exhibition - Artists' Reception

Join us at the Griffin Museum for the 30th Annual Juried Members' Exhibition. Juried by Mazie M. Harris, an Assistant Curator in the Department of Photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the exhibition will feature 60 photographs by the museum's member photographers. The exhibition is a platform for our member community to showcase their creativity through experimental photography. Arthur Griffin Legacy Award, Griffin Award, and Honorable Mentions will be awarded to select photographs.

The reception is FREE and open to the public. Refreshments will be available.

Art in August Opening Reception

The Winchester Cultural Council is joining with the Winchester Artists’ Network to exhibit local artists’ works in local shops and businesses throughout the month of August. We are kicking off Art in August with a gala reception to celebrate the arts in Winchester. Come meet the artists who are exhibiting in locations throughout the town, the merchants who generously donate space in their shops and windows, state and town leaders, Winchester Cultural Council members and local grant recipients, as well as other town residents and business owners.

All are invited, free admission. RSVP appreciated

Artificial Intelligence | Artist Reception

Collector's Eye | A Conversation and Book Signing with Frazier King

The Griffin Museum is pleased to present an afternoon of conversation with artist and collector Frazier King and Griffin Museum's Executive Director Crista Dix. The pair will talk about collaborating with artists, supporting careers through collecting, finding your vision and living with works you love. Frazier worked with Schilt Publishing to create a book featuring many of the works in his collection. Do you know where you're going next with your photography -- or where it's taking you? This intensive, IN PERSON, weekend workshop will help photographers begin to understand their own distinct way of seeing the world. Frank Siteman was born in St. Louis in 1947. He attended Tufts University, where he majored in chemistry. Already immersed in photography, he shot portraits of the entire college faculty in exchange for his tuition. He soon
