Looking to hang out in the WCMS Pan Yard to practice your steel pan skills, or test-drive a pan before signing up for our new ensemble in February? WCMS will be hosting three steel drum meet-up nights where you can drop in, play the drums, and practice your skills. These are casual evenings with no specific instruction or format. You can drop in at any point and stay as long as you wish. The meet-ups will be hosted by WCMS Advisor and volunteer, Sara McCabe. She'll have some song sheets that you can work on at your own pace and will be available to give tips and pointers. If you want to join

Shop local at this year's Thanksgiving Farmers Market at the Jenks Center, and enjoy live music while you're there! The market will have fresh produce and all types of gifts for the holiday season. This year the market will also host 17 artists who will display and sell their works as part of Winchester's town-wide Open Studios.
WCMS performers at the market will include a brass ensemble and ukulele ensembles.

Come on out for an afternoon of community music at Winchester Porchfest!
Last year there were over 20 venues for live performances throughout Winchester, from driveways to porches to the Town Common. This year's map and schedule of performers will be published a few days before the event on the Winchester Porchfest website. Rain date: Sunday, June 9.
Here at WCMS, we will be hosting non-stop music from 12:00-5:15 PM:

12:00-1:00 PM: WCMS Jazz Ensembles
1:15-1:45 PM: WCMS Village Band
2:00-2:45 PM: Jillian Ann Barrows (singer/songwriter and keyboard) with Sam Oderman (acoustic guitar)

Come on down for some great music and lots of fun at Winchester Town Day!
WCMS will have its usual tent downtown--come listen to live acoustic music, enter our raffle, and pick up information on lessons, classes, and ensembles.
We also have several ensembles performing on the stage between the Jenks Center and Hope Christian Church:

10:30-11:30 AM: Jazz Ensembles
11:45 AM - 12:30 PM: Motown Band
12:45-1:30 PM: Adult Rock Cover Band
1:45 - 2:30 PM: Village Band
