Join historical musical sensation Diane Taraz to celebrate the spirit of life and memories of friends. She will be performing her Fond Farewell musical program for Memorial Day, consisting of classical and original songs on guitar and dulcimer. The program will include Over the Rainbow, Wayfaring Stranger, Amazing Grace, Will the Circle be Unbroken and many more. Diane has provided music for sponsored events and recorded CDs, produced 20 solo CDs, 6 CDs with groups and 4 singles. Sponsored by the Cummings Foundation.

Please join us for an exciting evening of music performed by the RATS Percussion Ensemble from the studio of Sylvie Zakarian. The ensemble name is an acronym for its members' names: Remi, Aidan, Timmy, and Sienna!
The concert will include a lively mix of works showcasing a range of instruments and styles, featuring works by Bach, Tchaikovski, Joplin, Mancini, Rago, and Cirone.

The little bull who preferred smelling flowers to fighting matadors comes to musical life in this evocative setting of Munro Leaf's The Story of Ferdinand. Mark Fish's score captures the fury of the bull ring, the frenzy of the crowd, and - of course - the tranquility of Ferdinand's favorite cork tree. Performed with a slide show of Robert Lawson's beloved illustrations, Ferdinand the Bull is a delightful musical event.

Essential Romantic Music for Piano and French Horn
Please join Winchester Community Music School for its first faculty concert of 2024, featuring Dr. Jacky Li on French horn and guest Dr. Kyra Zhao on piano. The program will include a captivating selection of romantic works for horn and piano by Brahms, Schumann, Strauss, and more. Come be inspired by this musical tribute to peace, love, and hope.

Come enjoy two exquisite and romantic chamber pieces performed by a woodwind quintet with piano, a rare combination in chamber music. The first half of the program will consist of a beautiful wind chamber piece by Mozart, Quintet for Winds and Piano in E flat major, K452. The second half will feature Beethoven's Quintet for Piano and Winds in E-flat Major, Op. 16. Faculty performers and special guests will include Kyoko Hida-Battaglia, oboe; Glenn Dickson, clarinet; Dr. Jacky Ho-Yin Li, French horn; Sally Merriman, bassoon; and Dr. Sarah Tocco, piano.

Let's warm things up and dream of spring with some great jazz! This concert will feature standard jazz favorites along with special song arrangements by our faculty performers: Valerie Walton, saxophone; Dan Teager, trumpet; Seth Hamlin, trombone; Tad Hitchcock, guitar; Mark Pucci, double bass; and Carl Puglisi, drums.
