Join historical musical sensation Diane Taraz to celebrate the spirit of life and memories of friends. She will be performing her Fond Farewell musical program for Memorial Day, consisting of classical and original songs on guitar and dulcimer. The program will include Over the Rainbow, Wayfaring Stranger, Amazing Grace, Will the Circle be Unbroken and many more. We'll also explore the enchanting compositions of celebrated actor and composer Anthony Hopkins, including And the Waltz Goes On.

Please join WCMS for its second faculty concert of the season, featuring the Zefíra Trio: Olga Patramanska-Bell, violin; Ashima Scripp, cello; and Eleanor Perrone, piano. The members of the Zefíra Trio have established themselves as solo artists and chamber musicians of the highest standard. They are top prize winners of many national and international competitions and appear often as soloists with orchestras or in major recital halls across the country. They seek to engage their audiences with the artistry and depth of their performances as well as lively, informative comments on the music

Sol y Canto is the award-winning Pan-Latin ensemble led by Puerto Rican/Argentine singer and percussionist Rosi Amador and New Mexican guitarist and composer Brian Amador. Featuring Rosi's crystalline voice and Brian's lush Spanish guitar and inventive compositions, Sol y Canto is known for making their music accessible to Spanish and non-Spanish speaking audiences of all ages. Rosi and Brian are joined by cellist/vocalist Queralt Giralt Soler from Barcelona who, along with her spectacular cello playing, adds her voice to the group's intricate vocal harmonies.

Winchester Unitarian Society brings its 2024-2025 concert season to a rousing close with an in-person, live-streamed performance by Prince Edward Island fiddling sensation Cynthia MacLeod and guitarist Gordon Belsher.

Cynthia MacLeod is one of P.E.I.'s finest ambassador of Atlantic Canada's music traditions, with a fiddling style that reflects her local roots and ancestral connection to the Scottish Highlands. Our final concert in the series is scheduled for SATURDAY (not our usual Friday concert night), May 10th, and features fiddler Cynthia MacLeod and guitarist, Gordon Belsher, both from Prince Edward Island.
