The Winchester Cultural Council is joining with the Winchester Artists’ Network to exhibit local artists’ works in local shops and businesses throughout the month of August. We are kicking off Art in August with a gala reception to celebrate the arts in Winchester. Come meet the artists who are exhibiting in locations throughout the town, the merchants who generously donate space in their shops and windows, state and town leaders, Winchester Cultural Council members and local grant recipients, as well as other town residents and business owners.

All are invited, free admission. RSVP appreciated

The Griffin Museum welcomes the artists of Artificial Intelligence on Saturday September 7th for a reception. Join us to toast the opening of an exhibition of work by Winchester-local, Lisa Jo Spencer. Her exhibition The Body Project will be on view from July 16 - September 1, 2024. Come to our WinCAM satellite gallery, meet the artist and admire her amazing work.

Our founder Arthur Griffin would have been 101 this year, and we honor his legacy by looking to the future of the craft of photography with new exhibitions and ways to create images. The Griffin Museum is pleased to present an afternoon of conversation with artist and collector Frazier King and Griffin Museum's Executive Director Crista Dix. The pair will talk about collaborating with artists, supporting careers through collecting, finding your vision and living with works you love. Frazier worked with Schilt Publishing to create a book featuring many of the works in his collection.
