Join us for a conversation with the winners of our 14th Annual Photobook Exhibition.

Juried by Karen Davis, Curator and Co-owner of Davis Orton Gallery and Crista Dix, Executive Director of the Griffin Museum, the 14th Annual Photobook exhibition will showcase 40 books in our Griffin Gallery during the summer of 2024.

In honor of Photobook Month in May, the Griffin Team is pleased to host the winners for a conversation discussing their books on Zoom. Join us May 16, 7-8:30 in the Griffin Zoom Room.

The Griffin Museum and the Photographic Resource Center is thrilled to bring celebrated artist Accra Shepp to be our keynote speaker for the 2024 New England Portfolio Reviews. Since 2009 NEPR has been co-produced by the Griffin Museum and the PRC with the mission of bringing reviewers and photographers together from New England and beyond for two days of discussion, networking, and gaining fresh perspective on one's work.

The Griffin Museum is pleased to offer this intermediate - advanced online project development program for photographers who аre seeking to start a new project (series), or take their current project to the next level.

Students will participate in monthly critiques, and this workshop will offer a comprehensive opportunity to experiment with or reimagine your concepts and ideas. You will also discover tools and techniques that will keep your work relevant and compelling.

It is a pleasure to have Alexa Becker with us online in the Griffin Zoom Room for an afternoon of project reviews. Do you have a book project? Looking for feedback? Don't know who to publish with? Consultant and advisor and part of the publishing community, Alexa can provide a wide variety of feedback including editing and design feedback, as well as discussing paths to follow to get your book published.

The Griffin Museum is honored to have artist Benjamin Dimmitt and four of his contributors for a virtual panel discussion focused on the artist's new book An Unflinching Look: Elegy for Wetlands.

Join us in the Griffin Zoom room for a discussion with artist Xuan Hui Ng about her exhibition Transcendence: Awakening the Soul, on view in the Atelier and Griffin galleries from December 13th, 2023 - January 7th, 2024.

"My name is Xuan Hui. I am from Singapore and currently live in Tokyo.

Join us for a discussion with the artists currently on view in our Atelier and Griffin galleries! Cody Bratt will discuss his project, The Other Stories, and David Johnson and Philip Matthews will talk about their collaboration, Wig Heavier than a Boot. Both of these exhibitions are on view in Winchester until December 10, 2023.

We are thrilled to chat with Wig Heavier Than a Boot artists, David Johnson and Philip Matthews to discuss the ideas behind their projects. Wig Heavier Than a Boot brings together photography and video by Johnson and poetry by Matthews to create a persona named Petal, exploring the relationship between character, observer and author.
