The Winchester Conservation Commission is sponsoring its annual event to improve the habitat, environment and water quality along the Aberjona. We’re organizing it a little differently this year and we’d love to have you join us!

Pick up litter and/or cut back and remove invasives (bittersweet, knotweed, etc. )

4 locations between 9AM - 12PM

1. Judkins Pond - Meet/join at Griffin Museum parking lot
2. Behind Stop and Shop - Meet/join at parking lot on the east side of Stop and Shop
3. Elliot Park - Meet/join at Elliot Park near Wedge Pond

Kick off Winchester Spirit Weekend with a Story Time Double Feature! Join us and authors Josh Funk (Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast #6: Attack of the Scones) and Jenn Morris (Sharing is UnBEARable!) for a morning of laughter and fun!

Free workout & food talk for teens at FreddyLive Fitness, Saturday, 10/26, from 4-6 pm

Freddy is passionate about sharing his studio and his story with young people. Invite your teen to grab a friend for a (very adaptable!) workout for all genders and all levels of fitness, healthy snacks, and a short Saturday-night style discussion on how working out and eating smart can help with stress reduction and self-care.

This program is brought to you by Leaders for an Equitable Tomorrow (LET), a joint initiative between the Network for Social Justice and Social Capital Inc.

Don't fight your feelings! Learn how physical fitness releases stress and can help you find balance. Join us for a workout and talk about healthy habits for middle and high schoolers.
