Winchester Invasive Plant Clean-Up
Join in this annual event to improve town wetlands and wildlife habitats by cutting back and removing invasives such as bittersweet and knotweed. Activities focus on two areas:
- Judkins Pond, starting at the Griffin Museum parking lot
- Borgaard Beach, off Palmer Street between the housing development and the tennis courts
All are welcome. Wear clothing that covers your legs, feet, and arms. Bring your own pruners/loppers and work gloves (a few tools will be available at the site).
