Clarinet Master Class with guest Rane Moore

In this 90-minute master class, guest clinician Rane Moore will work with participants to develop their technical skills in the service of furthering their musical expression. Players will be curated by the clarinet faculty, but all clarinet students ages 12+ are welcome to attend and observe.
Clarinetist Rane Moore is sought after as both a performer and an educator. Currently she is on faculty at the Longy School of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Moore is also principal clarinetist of the Boston Philharmonic and Boston Landmarks Orchestra; performs with local ensembles including

Piano Dept. Master Class

In this master class, renowned pianist and educator Isabella Li will work with WCMS piano students to help them expand their performance skills and musical artistry. This is a great opportunity to refine your repertoire for upcoming performance or competition. Participants can choose to play standard repertoire or their own arrangement or original composition.

Voice Department Master Class for Adult Learners

Voice Master Class with Maggie Finnegan: How to FIRST Approach a New Song or Aria
In this master class, guest clinician and Grammy-nominated soprano Maggie Finnegan will work with participants on how to prepare a new classical or Broadway piece for performance, from analyzing the subtext and emotional state of the character, to physical performance tips such as eye focus. Within this overall theme, each participant will receive advice tailored to their individual piece and performance. Each master class will also feature a Q&A session with Maggie.
