Kids' Corner's Giving Tuesday Fundraiser
Our Goal: Consider donating to Kids’ Corner this giving tuesday! This is our main online fundraiser and anyone can donate! Our goal with this fundraiser remains broad participation. No amount is too big or too small. Internally, we are looking for our program to have 75% participation. We reached 71% last year!
Additionally, we have two amazingly gracious matching gifts this year. Every gift will be matched dollar for dollar with a matching gift from the Lee Family and an anonymous family, up to $5,000 in total. Incredible! Let us know if your family or company would be willing to match as
LWV Civic Leadership Award 2024
The League of Women Voters of Winchester is pleased to announce this year's Civic Leadership Award will be presented to Gloria Legvold. Gloria has provided a tremendous service to the community over many years through her work with the League, Winchester Unitarian Social Action & Outreach Committee, and the Network for Social Justice (formerly, the Winchester Multicultural Network). Gloria served on the Network Board from 2006-2017, and its Steering Committee from 2017-2020.
