Veterans Day Parade and Civic Exercises

Parade: at 10 am, muster at Laraway Road. Step off at 10:15 am.

Route: Quill Rotary to Church Street; left on Waterfield; left on Mystic Valley Parkway to place wreath at WWI Memorial; continue on Main Street to Mt Vernon Street; right to Edward F. O’Connell Veterans Memorial at Town Hall.

Viva Las Winton - Casino Night

The Winton Club is excited to announce its fourth annual Casino Night FUNdraiser event.  All proceeds will go towards three impactful programs benefiting the Winchester Hospital community:

  • The Special Care Nursery Renovation, to increase advanced medical care and exceptional family support for babies born at 32 weeks gestation and later.
  • A Caring Place, which offers specialized products and personalized consultation services for patients undergoing cancer treatments and following surgeries. This includes grants for products like wigs and services like Paxman Scalp Cooling.
  • Family Literacy program

WCMS at Winchester Fall Farmers Market

Shop local at this year's Thanksgiving Farmers Market at the Jenks Center, and enjoy live music while you're there! The market will have fresh produce and all types of gifts for the holiday season. This year the market at the Jenks will host 17 artists who will display and sell their works as part of Winchester's town-wide Open Studios.

Why Do Migrants Make Such Dangerous Journeys? With Dr. Katrina Burgess

Join us as we welcome Dr. Katrina Burgess, a Professor of Political Economy and Director of the Henry J. Leir Institute of Migration and Human Security at the Fletcher School. This presentation is based on her current research that addresses how U.S.-bound migrants assess risk and process information as they make the perilous journey north to the United States.
