Meet Sean Bannon

On June 29, 2024, Winchester native Sean Bannon joined the ranks of an elite group of swimmers who completed the 21-mile crossing of the English Channel from Dover, England to Calais, France. Please join us to hear Sean's inspiring story and chat with him about why access to water and recreational resources are so important. The event is free and all ages are encouraged to attend.

Memorial Day Parade

The parade will assemble at 9:00am at the Winchester High School and step-off at 9:15am from Skillings Road and follow the route to Town Hall, where Civic Exercises will take place at the Edward F. O’Connell Memorial Plaza. Included in the line of march will be Senator Jason Lewis, Representative Michael Day, members of the Town Government, scouts and the Masons.

The Civic Exercise will include Rev. Earl Darlington who will deliver the Invocation and Benediction, Winchester High School Band, Boston Fireman’s Band, speakers Commander Festus McDonough, and the 6th grade essay winner will read her
