Well, now is your chance to get a first-hand account of daily life and work at the Mount Washington Observatory from current weather observer and research/IT specialist Charlie Peachey. He will be making his way from the top of New England to the Jenks Center to discuss topics such as what it is like to go out in hurricane-force winds every hour, what makes the weather on the summit of Mt. Music MAYnia is our annual music performathon and community festival. Held on the first Sunday in May, Music MAYnia is free and open to the public and features live music, instrument demos, games, arts & crafts, food trucks, and more! Students of all ages and abilities perform live on four stages providing continuous music ranging from classical to rock. It's a popular music festival that many community members attend annually.

WCMS has a wonderful building full of musical instruments--and once a year, you can come meet them all! Our annual MusicFest is free and fun for all ages. This musical open house features meet-the-instrument sessions, instrument demos, a scavenger hunt, and a fun opportunity to explore our building. Faculty members and current WCMS students will show you what makes each instrument unique and fun. Participate in the scavenger hunt and win a prize!
