The Griffin Museum of Photography is thrilled to host visual artist Kevin Bennett Moore for an in-depth presentation and conversation about his exhibition, Meditations in an Emergency. Moore's eclectic staged-photography project is currently on view at the Atelier Gallery through March 30 as part of the larger exhibition, Nuclear Family, featuring artists exploring family and community from an LGBTQIA+ perspective. Join us for an art class with Studio on the Common! This month's project will be: Turtle Time! Clay Creatures Workshop - using hand building techniques, participants will sculpt a turtle out of clay. We'll be in the Storytime Room (or the Library Lawn if it's a nice day) getting crafty with all kinds of fun art supplies! For kids in grades 2-5, registration is required.
