The Sanborn House rose as a rare Beaux Arts residence on a hill overlooking Winchester during an early 20th-century age of prosperity.

Using new research, Dr. Knight will reveal insights into the lives and fortunes of the Sanborn family and staff, Sanborn House, and Winchester itself.

Did you ever want to learn to paint an exciting watercolor sky? Even for experienced painters, it can be quite challenging to do! For beginner and experienced artists alike, award winning Winchester artist, Carolyn Latanision, will share her expert artistic tips on how to use acrylic gouache as a sneaky way to get amazing results!

Look through your pictures and pick one to paint. Come to this workshop prepared to learn techniques to help you take your own photograph and use it as a reference to create a beautiful painting. All levels welcome!

Stop by the Large Meeting Room anytime during this 2-hour window and make some beaded snowflakes and icicles. These can be as simple or as fancy as you want them to be. All are welcome, but we strongly suggest a minimum age of 4, as beads pose a choking hazard .
