The PhotoBook Project Review serve individuals who are just embarking on their creation process as well as those who have experience, a fully formed idea, book dummy or publication and are hoping to reach new audiences.
The cost of a 20 minute photobook review is $65 for members/ $70 for non-members
Nine 20 minute reviews will be scheduled on Tuesday May 7th between 9:30AM - 1:30PM Eastern / 6:30AM - 10:30AM Pacific.
A twenty minute time slot will be assigned and communicated to registrants one week prior to May 7th.
Alexa Becker is a freelance consultant, advising and coaching photographers in various stages of their careers. She teaches at various institutions and leads workshops about publishing and editing photography projects.
Before becoming independent, she worked at Kehrer Verlag, a renowned German art & photobook publisher for many years. Hence, Alexa's expertise ranges from publishing and book-making to editing and promoting the work internationally.
Whilst working with a number of international independent publishers, Alexa is still active as Freelance Representative for Kehrer Verlag.
She serves as juror on a number of leading photography competitions and has been a reviewer at international portfolio reviews since 2008.
