WinCAM

WinCAM is Winchester's community media station. Along with providing video coverage of municipal meetings and town events, WinCAM offers training and production assistance to anyone who lives or works in Winchester. WinCAM members have access to professional video production equipment as well as our fantastic facility, complete with two production studios, post production suites and multipurpose production room. The multipurpose space is available for community use as well and can hold up to 80 people for meetings, workshops, presentations or functions.

Mission

Winchester Community Access & Media, Inc. (WinCAM) is a non-profit, membership-based organization, committed to providing an electronic forum for the free exchange of information and ideas, and a platform via our cable channels and YouTube to reflect the talents, skills, interests, concerns and diversity of the Winchester community. We provide television studio and field equipment for member use as well as a variety of training from our expert staff to educate and support member productions.

Programs

Media Education:

WinCAM offers a variety of trainings that come with annual membership as well as an intensive editing course at additional cost. To learn more about our trainings here: https://wincam.org/core-workshops/ 

Media Making Opportunities:

WinCAM members have the ability to use our facilities (such as the production studio and edit computers) and equipment (cameras, microphones, etc.) for member-led productions in exchange for broadcast on our channels. Learn more about membership here: https://wincam.org/join/ 

Community Partnerships:

WinCAM creates programming offered through the Winchester Recreation department such as our Sports Broadcasting & Production and "One Minute Films: WinCAM Filmmaking Course." See the rec website for details: https://winchesterma.myrec.com/info/activities/default.aspx
