SUMMARY:The Poetry of the Street: Boston Photography Workshop with Jeff
  Larason
DESCRIPTION:Discover the art of capturing fleeting street moments in this
five-part workshop for photographers looking to hone their street
photography skills. This course will help you sharpen your eye\, build
confidence\, and capture the rhythm and poetry of everyday life in the
  city.

We'll begin with a classroom session exploring the storied history of
street photography\, highlighting influential photographers and
introducing styles and techniques for working in public spaces.
Participants will take part in two guided on-location photo sessions
in Boston\, putting these ideas into practice while photographing the
  city in real time.

Each on-location session is followed by a thoughtful\,
student-centered critique class. Participants will share and discuss
their images and other students' work in a supportive group
environment. These critiques will focus on visual storytelling\,
composition\, sequencing\, and personal approach\, offering time for
reflection\, feedback\, and growth. Thoughtful feedback is key to
understanding one's own work and provides the next steps for continued
growth as an artist creating work in public spaces.

Join us to deepen your street photography practice and connect with
others who see the city through a creative\, visual lens.
